How to get SDM Job in India

All the candidates who have the aim to become an SDM (Sub Divisional Magistrate), they will need to clear the Examination which is conducted by the State Public Service Commission. Here in this, I will tell you about the complete selection procedure of this and after that, we will see the SDM Salary and the SDM post is most demanding especially in the state Uttar Pradesh. Selection Procedure:

In order to become an SDM in the state, one will need to clear the civil service examination or can also appear for the State PCS examination.  In these examinations, you will need to appear for the two written examinations which are known as the Preliminary Exam and mains exam. The preliminary exam is objective while the Mains exam is descriptive. You will need to clear these both examinations to get qualified for the Interview/ personality test. In an easy the selection procedure will be like:

Eligibility Criteria:

All the candidate who has done graduation are eligible to apply for this, the age of the candidate must be at least 18 years old and it should not be more than 37 years old for the general Candidates, There are some relaxations have been given to the candidates who belong to any categories except for general like OBC (Other Backward Class) SC (Scheduled Caste) and ST (Scheduled Tribes) etc.

Monthly Salary of SDM:

The Salary of the SDM is very better, the state governments pay very well. On average the SDM Salary is around  45,000/- per month to 60,000 per month. This is just basic pay. There are many more things that get after the salary and if we include that all in Salary, It will be close to 1 lakh or even more. Grade pay of 5400/- per month, Dearness Allowances, etc., and some other benefits expect SDM Salary. The Salary of SDM in UP will be also similar. There might be slight changes regarding the allowances and other benefits but the basic structure of the salary is the same.

Vacancies:

Every year the Government releases the vacancy for the post of SDM in the state, the selection is purely based on your performance in the examination, there is no other way to get an SDM job in India. You will have to prepare better for the examination to get selected.  If you have Aim to be an SDM, you really need to work hard. The SDM Salary, Allowances and other benefits are just awesome, it is hard to get that kind of benefits in any other government service.
